IMPORTANT: Due to the narrow width and the resulting small cross-section of the tracks, a considerable loss of voltage and therefore luminosity must be expected for lengths over 3 metres. As a result, the strip light must be fed in more frequently or on both sides.

Thanks to 120 LEDs per metre, the LED light strip is point-free from a depth of just 10 mm when used in profiles together with an opal diffuser. Measured internally, distance from the floor to the diffuser.

Our LED light strips are very adaptable and easy to install. Nevertheless, there are a few points to bear in mind. We list the most important aspects in this overview. Simply click on the plus sign. You can easily integrate this light strip into your smart home system and control it via an app, for example. You will need an LED power supply unit, an LED controller and a smart home centre or a remote control for white LEDs.
On/off: you only need a 12V LED power supply unit for the power supply if you don't want to dim.
The LED light strip is dimmable via PMW , i.e. with a suitable ballast, such as our controller, you can dim it to your desired brightness at any time without flickering (1000 Hz).
For operation, a 12V DC power supply unit is required. Please allow for a safety reserve of at least 20%. To do this, calculate the power of the light strip over its entire length and divide the result by 0.8. round to the next available power level. You can find a suitable power supply unit in our online shop.
Für eine ausreichende Wärmeableitung und lange Lebensdauer raten wir grundsätzlich zur Montage in einem Profil.
Bitte klebe dieses LED-Lichtband niemals direkt auf isolierende Untergründe (z.B. Holzkonstruktionen, Dämmplatten, Rigipsplatten, Styropor etc.), sondern ausschließlich auf Wärme ableitende Untergründe, z.B. aus Aluminium, Zinkblech etc.
Eine ausreichende Wärmeableitung ist bei LED essentiell, insbesondere auf langen Strecken. Eine überhöhte Wärmeentwicklung kann die vorgesehene Lebensdauer der LED erheblich verkürzen.
Durch den unvermeidlichen Spannungsverlust in den Leitern reduziert sich mit zunehmender Länge des Lichtbands die Lichtleistung. Die Reduktion ist proportional zum Spannungsverlust.
Reduziert sich die Spannung am Ende um beispielsweise 10%, so reduziert sich auch der Lichtstrom des letzten LED-Segments um eben diese 10%.
Die maximale Länge, wie in der Spezifikation angegeben (Reiter oben), sollte deshalb nicht überschritten werden. Wird ein zweites Anschlusskabel montiert und dieses mit dem Netzteil/Controller verbunden, kann die maximale Länge doppelt so lang sein wie angegeben.
Wird das LED-Lichtband gedimmt, entstehen elektromagnetische Emissionen. Das nicht geschirmte Anschlusskabel sollte deshalb auf einer Länge von maximal 70cm verlegt werden. Für längere Kabelwege und bei fester Montage in der Decke, empfehlen wir geschirmte Kabel zu verwenden. Wir bieten entsprechende Kabel und Klemmen dazu an.
Die filigrane und sehr flache Bauweise bietet höchste Flexibilität bei der Verwendung in vielfältigen Projekten. Die selbstklebende Rückseite ist mit einem sehr gut haftenden 3M Markenklebeband versehen, so dass die Lichtbänder auf nahezu allen entfetteten Flächen aufgeklebt werden können. Diese dürfen keine wärme-isolierenden Eigenschaften haben!
Achtung: Einmal aufgeklebte LED-Lichtbänder können nicht mehr schadenfrei abgelöst werden! Wenn es sich trotzdem nicht vermeiden lässt, nutze einen Föhn, um den Kleber zu erwärmen. Die maximale Temperatur sollte dabei 60° C nicht überschreiten.
Das LED-Lichtband kann (bitte nicht knicken!) auch um Ecken herum verlegt werden. Das Aufkleben auf runden Formen (minimaler Radius etwa 2,5cm) ist ebenso möglich.
Das LED-Lichtband kann alle 25 mm mit einer scharfen Haushaltsschere an einer entsprechenden Markierung gekürzt werden. Aufgrund unserer langjährigen Erfahrung empfehlen wir immer das Löten für eine nachhaltige Verlängerung.
Beim Löten dieses Lichtbands ist aufgrund der filigranen Bauweise feines Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt. Gerne löten wir für dich dieses Lichtband auf dein Wunschmaß.
Innenbreite: Das LED-Lichtband ist 5 mm schmal, siehe Spezifikation. Die Innenbreite des Profils sollte somit mind. 5 mm betragen.
Innentiefe: Eine Punktbildung auf der opaken Abdeckung wird ab einer Profiltiefe von mind. 10 mm vermieden und eine gleichmäßige Ausleuchtung ermöglicht.
Bitte beachte, dass mit steigender Transmissionsrate der Abdeckung die Lichtintensität sinkt, da das Licht vermehrt geschluckt wird.
